Torvi Terms of Service
From 3 October 2026, Torvi is provided by Torvi Technology Pty Ltd (ABN 17 702 923 528), which took over from Skilled Health Professionals Pty Ltd.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Torvi workforce management platform ("Torvi", "the Service"), provided by Torvi Technology Pty Ltd, ABN 17 702 923 528 ("we", "us", "our").
By creating an account or using Torvi, the organisation signing up ("you", "Organisation") agrees to these Terms. If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.
2. What Torvi is — and isn't
Torvi is a software platform for workforce scheduling, timesheets, compliance tracking, and related administrative functions for aged care, disability support, and workforce agency businesses.
Torvi is not:
- A registered NDIS provider, aged care provider, or healthcare provider
- A substitute for your own compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards, Aged Care Quality Standards, the Fair Work Act, work health and safety laws, or any other law or regulatory obligation applicable to your business
- A source of legal, financial, payroll, or clinical advice
You remain solely responsible for your own regulatory compliance, employment obligations, and the accuracy and appropriateness of any information you enter into or rely on from the platform.
3. Auto-generated figures are estimates only
Any payroll, invoicing, or financial figures generated by Torvi are auto-generated estimates. Torvi can make mistakes. You must rely on your own accounting/payroll records and processes, and verify all figures independently — particularly for Fair Work Award compliance, before using any Torvi-generated figure for actual payment or invoicing purposes.
4. Your account and responsibilities
You must:
- Provide accurate information when signing up, including a valid ABN
- Keep your login credentials secure and not share them
- Ensure you have a proper legal basis to enter personal information (including staff and participant/client information) into the platform
- Comply with all applicable laws in your use of the Service, including privacy, employment, and health/disability sector-specific laws
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
5. Subscription, billing, and trials
- Torvi is offered on a subscription basis. Your plan, any products added to it, and what each costs are shown in your account settings and at torvi.com.au/pricing
- A plan is priced per staff member. Billable staff means every staff member on your books who is not archived, counted from the day their invitation is sent. There is no minimum number of staff
- Torvi LMS, Torvi Compliance and Torvi Kiosk may be added to any plan. Each has a base price plus a rate — per staff member for LMS and Compliance, per location for Kiosk. Everything you hold appears on one invoice with one renewal date
- Every price we show excludes tax. Goods and services tax (GST) is added at checkout and shown separately on your invoice. We have been registered for GST since 2 October 2026; invoices issued before that date do not include it
- New Organisations receive a 60-day free trial. No charge is made during the trial, and you do not need to provide payment details until you choose a plan
- At the end of the trial the subscription begins and the first payment is taken, unless you cancel before the trial ends. Cancelling during the trial means no payment is taken at all
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Paying yearly costs less than twelve monthly payments, and there is no lock-in. If you cancel a yearly plan part way through, we refund the part of the period you have not used, calculated to the day
- If you add or remove a product part way through a billing period, you are charged or credited only for the part of the period it applied, calculated to the day
- If a payment fails, we may suspend or restrict access to the Service until payment is resolved, after reasonable notice
- Prices may change with reasonable notice before your next renewal
Invoices are issued by Torvi Technology Pty Ltd, ABN 17 702 923 528. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms as they apply to processing your payment.
6. Storage and file sizes
- Each Organisation's plan includes 2 GB of storage plus 250 MB for each billable staff member. Torvi LMS adds a further 10 GB, because course video is larger than anything else in the product
- Going over your storage allowance does not stop you working. We will tell you in your account settings and by email, and we will contact you if it continues — but care records, incident reports, photographs and documents will always upload
- Individual files are limited by what they are: photographs and documents up to 10 MB, and video up to 50 MB. Course videos uploaded to Torvi LMS may be up to 200 MB and count towards your storage
- A file over its limit is refused at the point you choose it, with a message telling you the limit — nothing is uploaded and nothing is silently discarded
7. Your data
- You retain ownership of all data you enter into Torvi, including staff records, rosters, timesheets, and (where applicable) participant/client information
- We do not access, use, or share your data except as necessary to provide the Service, as instructed by you, or as required by law (see our Privacy Policy for details)
- Each Organisation's data is logically isolated from every other Organisation using Torvi
- On request or upon termination, we will provide reasonable assistance to export your data, and will delete it in accordance with our data retention practices and any applicable legal retention requirements
8. Acceptable use
You must not use Torvi to:
- Enter false, misleading, or unlawfully obtained information
- Attempt to access another Organisation's data or accounts without authorisation
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.
9. Availability and support
We aim to keep Torvi available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes to the Service from time to time, with reasonable notice for anything materially affecting your use where practicable.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Torvi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses arising from your use of the Service
- Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement:
- You, by cancelling your subscription at any time (see Section 5 for billing effect)
- Us, if you materially breach these Terms and do not remedy the breach within a reasonable period after notice, or immediately for serious breaches (e.g. unlawful use, non-payment after reasonable notice)
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
